The Wren 10x42 is a straightforward pair of binoculars built for everyday birding: light enough to carry all day, wide enough field of view to track fast-moving subjects. BAK4 prisms and fully multi-coated (FMC) optics keep the image bright and reduce glare in the field.
At 10x magnification with a 42mm objective lens, the Wren gathers enough light for early morning and late afternoon viewing. The central focus wheel and individual diopter adjustment let each eye focus independently, useful if your eyes don't match exactly. The body is wrapped in rubber armor for grip and shock resistance, and the housing is waterproof and fog-proof.
Eye relief is 15mm. Not recommended for glasses wearers, see the Merlin or Harrier instead.
